Case study
Shopie: a shopping list app for iOS with a hi-fi prototype
Shopie was meant to simplify everyday shopping, and the client was preparing talks with advertisers and investors. We designed a shopping list app for iOS, tested it with users on an interactive hi-fi prototype in Figma and prepared a pitch deck.

For the startup Shopie, we designed an app that makes everyday shopping simpler: sortable lists, memory of previous purchases, and adding products from a ready-made list or as custom items. We also prepared a product presentation for advertisers and investors.

Process
What we delivered
A Shopie app design validated on a prototype, and a product presentation for partners.
- Onboarding - interactive tutorials that gradually introduce list management and settings.
- Shopping list - adding, editing, removing and sorting products by preference, plus memory of previous purchases.
- Products - choosing from a predefined list or creating custom items.
- Figma prototype - an interactive Hi-Fi prototype for UX/UI testing with users.
- Pitch deck - a presentation for advertisers and investors: the app's value, key features and market potential.
Challenge: a simple shopping list for every day
Shopie was meant to make creating and managing shopping lists easier. An app used for everyday shopping has to be, above all, simple.
The design had to make sorting products and remembering preferences easy, while staying friendly to someone opening the app for the first time. The client was also preparing for talks with advertisers and investors, so the product had to be easy to present clearly.
The goal was for Shopie to become iOS users' go-to tool for everyday shopping.

Solution: onboarding, sorting and purchase memory
Onboarding with interactive tutorials reveals features step by step, so first use involves no guesswork.
On the list, products are added, edited, removed and sorted according to the user's preferences. The app remembers previous purchases, so a routine list comes together in moments. Products can be picked from a predefined list or added as custom items.
Prototype and presentation
An interactive Hi-Fi prototype in Figma let us test the UX/UI with users and make fixes quickly. Alongside the UX/UI work, we helped the client prepare a pitch deck for advertisers and investors that shows Shopie's simplicity, usefulness and look.

Results: a design tested on a prototype, and a pitch deck
The client got an app design validated on a prototype with users, and material for conversations with partners.
The pitch deck sets out Shopie's value, key features and market potential. It was designed to encourage advertisers and investors to come on board.
