Case study
DermAI: an app for dermatologists with a web panel
Dermatologists and cosmetologists needed one tool for assessing skin lesions and following a patient over time. We designed and built DermAI in Flutter: an app for dermatologists with ABCD mole assessment and 3D models, plus a web panel with patient data.

We designed and built DermAI in Flutter: a mobile app and a web panel for specialists. The app supports the assessment of moles based on photos analysed by AI, and the panel organises patient data, medical history and test results.

- App and panel built in Flutter
ABCD assessment of moles, reports and 3D models of skin lesions, in an app and a panel for specialists.

Goals
01
Support for diagnosis
Make it easier to assess moles and skin lesions from photos, using the ABCD criteria.
02
Patient data in one place
Bring patient data, medical history and test results together in a panel that is easy to browse and analyse.
03
Treatment monitoring
Give doctors reports that help them track the progress of therapy and respond quickly to changes in a patient's health.
Process
What we delivered
A mobile app and a web panel for specialists, built in Flutter.
- ABCD diagnostics - assessment of moles for asymmetry, border, colour and diameter, based on AI analysis of photos.
- Reports - detailed summaries that support diagnosis and monitoring of treatment progress.
- Web panel - patient data, medical history and test results in one place, ready to browse and analyse.
- 3D visualisation - photos of moles turned into three-dimensional models through integration with the client's external system.
Challenge: mole assessment and patient history in one place
DermAI was built for dermatologists and cosmetologists. The product had to support both the assessment of skin lesions and following a patient over time.
Assessing a mole means comparing several features at once, and monitoring treatment requires access to the history of photos and test results. This information had to be brought together in a mobile app and a web panel so that doctors could easily browse and analyse it.
The aim was to raise the quality of diagnosis and therapy, with a focus on the needs of specialists and patients.

Solution: AI analysis, the ABCD scale and a web panel
The app combines AI photo analysis with ABCD assessment: asymmetry, border, colour and diameter.
Based on this, the system generates detailed reports. Doctors get support in diagnosis and in monitoring treatment progress. The web panel organises patient data, medical history and test results, which makes it easier to plan treatment and respond quickly to changes in a patient's health.
Moles in 3D
We extended the system with 3D visualisation of photos. Integration with an external system provided by the client turns photos of moles into three-dimensional models, so doctors can see the height, depth and shape of a lesion.

Results: assessment, reports and patient history in one product
Specialists have skin lesion assessment, reports and patient history in a single product, across a mobile app and a web panel.
The 3D model shows the structure of a lesion that a flat photo can't, supporting diagnosis and monitoring. Reports and data in the panel help doctors plan treatment and track its progress.
